Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu and Kashmir is an Indian state, located in the northern part of the Indian subcontinent near the western mountain ranges. Earlier it was one of the major princely states of India. 

The Autonomous Region and Tibetan autonomous region of Sinkiang in Eastern (both China and part of), South Himachal Pradesh and Punjab states, West Pakistan, and northwestern Pakistan is surrounded by the authorized territory. Desai mountain is in the Pakistan occupied area of the west-central part of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The capital of this state was Srinagar in summer and Jammu in winter. The capital stays.

The states of Jammu and Kashmir lie between 32–15 and 37–05 northern latitudes and 72–35 and 83–20 east longitudes. Geographically, this state can be divided into four regions.

• The hilly and semi-hilly plain known as Kandi Patti;

• The mountainous region comprising Shivalik hills ;

• Kashmir valley mountains and Pir Panchal ranges and

• Tibet came from Ladakh and Kargil region.

Geographically and culturally, the three districts of the state are Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh.
