The mythological belief of Anusuya Temple
Dev Doli visits the ashram of Mata Anusuya and Atri Muni. In the ancient temple of Mata Anasuya, a big yajna is also performed to get children. According to mythological beliefs, those who do chanting and sacrifice in this temple get children. According to this belief, at this place, Mata Anasuya had forced 'Tridev' ( Brahma, Vishnu, and Shankar ) to play in the cradle by converting her into an infant form. Later, after a lot of penance, he gave his form again to the trinity, and then here Dattatreya with three faces was born. Since then, people come here to wish for children. The 'Dattatreya Temple' has also been established here.
