Himalayas will never get independence without Tibet.




The Himalayas cannot be protected without the independence of Tibet. The road to peace between India and China also passes through Tibet.


This was done by eminent sociologist of Delhi and General Secretary of Indo-Tibet Friendship Association Prof. Dr. Anand Kumar said.


A webinar on the theme 'Lohia's Himalayan Policy and Current Situation' was organized under the joint aegis of the Lohia Study Center and the Indo-Tibet Friendship Association.


On this occasion, as a keynote speaker, Prof. Anand Kumar was speaking. Other speakers were Prakash Dubey, group editor of Dainik Bhaskar and Harish Adyalkar, general secretary of the Lohia Studies Center.


Prof. Anand Kumar said that Lohia introduced the cultural introduction of the Himalayas. Dr. Lohia traveled far to the northeast. He is the first Indian leader who said that if there is a ban then how will we join. If Tibet gets independence, then they will be able to communicate on the border line. Tibet considered India as a guru.


There was free trade in the Himalayan region. China banned the Himalayan region after occupying Tibet. Modi government should issue white paper on Himalayan policy and social, cultural and strategic situation of the country. Nepal's intelligence is the guarantee of Himalayan security.


Save the Himalaya Conference in 1962


Harish Adyalkar said that the great socialist thinker Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia had emphasized on making Himalaya policy. In 1962, 'Himalaya Bachao Sammelan' was organized.


He warned that if the people on both sides of the Himalayan ranges are affected, the whole world will be hurt along with them. The Himalayas will not remain a traditional sentry of India. The program was conducted by Tikaram Sahu 'Azad'.


Hindi officer Dr. Jayaprakash expressed gratitude. The webinar included Amrit Bansode, secretary of the Indo-Tibet Friendship Association Maharashtra, and Sachin Ramteke, organization secretary, Nalin Paneru from Nainital, Asit Sinha from Nagpur, Ramesh Borkutte, Shyamsunder Butolia, Santosh Kumar Dubey, Amit Kumar, Madhu Kejdiwal, Anisha Ramteke, Omprakash Shiv, Dr. Anil Tripathi, Dr. Shankar Singh Parihar, Sunil Patil, Zulfakar Ahmad Shanu, Dr. Anoop Singh from Savner joined prominently.


Dr. Lohia's sources



Prakash Dubey, while emphasizing the need to draw attention of the country towards the strategic and political importance of the Himalayas, described Dr. Lohia's sources as very relevant for India, Tibet and China.


Pointing to the natural map of Asia, he said that all the major rivers of South Asia are the product of the Himalayas.
